A friend of my son who has all the latest toys, the previous model, and this strongly recommnended my son. I bought a gift for b-day. My son is a surfer and skiing, and this fits the bill rugged outdoor water temperature. It takes good pictures. It did not come with a memory card, I did not know until I received the package. The description does not mention, I assumed it would come with at least one card starter. Still a good price for a good little camera.

The Cheapest To Buy Canon PowerShot G11 10MP Digital Reviewed by Marcus D. (USA)
I bought my G11 in December 2009 and maintains failure anon (pop opening / closing more). Canon repaired the camera under his one-year warranty. 6 months later, still the sound of 1-year, insurance, the failure of the camera again. CANON now forbidden to test the adaptation of the camera to the concepts of malicious assurance fee. Canon asked me to pay $ 150 for repair. Two weeks later, yesterday I used the camera route, by a fear that the correction amount is too high, and the camera was not repaired. No Band-Aid has been offered by Canon, and I'm not permanent, what I do with my rent $ 500 G11.

I bought this camera three weeks ago. I live on a remote cay in the Bahamas, so I really do not always take a camera home and turn off all my wild trips. I bought the Panasonic Lumix TS2 after reading many reviews. It 'a camera, take good shots … provided some form of underwater macro is not good, and images of underwater action is a lost cause.
Why give this camera a figure so low is that after taking very good care of it for the last few weeks … I went to my camera to turn this morning and the screen is all herds and the camera does not work. I was so careful when cleaning the "watertight" seal and clean the machine after each use … Apparently it did not matter.

I agree that natives say that with the exception of a Fuji point and shoot, all my cameras from Canon, so I was a little 'how Canon can barter is complete, but I need the camera. I bought this camera as a further development of my S5IS. I'm planning a trip and I am ashamed always on my DSLR and lenses with me to give in disgust before the accident or the annexation and the restrictions on the weight of the aircraft. I got used to the S5IS for a cruise to Bermuda and was thrilled with the results. I have to accelerate a presentation on DVD and also a 50 in HDTV, the kicks were fantastic. This camera produces images more than 12 megapixels to 8 secured to the S5IS and a 20x optical zoom, compared to 12 for S5IS. The SX20IS has more videos, additional features and greater abundance of zoom. I was using the photographs I took of the Aborigines and, although the implementation of Agenda zoom, the chatter was actually bearable and docked safely with acceptable program for anxiety photos. The application program Zoom, I printed a lot 4 x 6 prints were bright and crisp. I also accept a Canon G10, a T1i lens Canon 18 -270 Tamarone, and a Canon XTi with Sigma 18-200 lens. When I compared the picture above in the middle of these cameras and SX20IS AFN did not win, but everyone. For the price, the camera SX20IS yield abundant over a large cruising area and weight are a concern. I applauded this camera to anyone who wants to direct a higher premium and the camera turning.
